Today at work I had to ask the head guy from maintenance for gas that he has in cans in his workspace for my security golf cart. He said that he would put it in the tank for me and I said okay. He then said "Thank a republican". (drill baby drill). I then said I already did. He said, "How so?" I said, "I thanked Lincoln for Obama."

- I Swings Wide is a song I wrote, produced and recorded. At the end of the blog is the live version, when it was still a work in progress, with me singing and being backed up with my band at the time in L.A., the Fabulous Poon-Tones. It was later recorded in the studio with quite a different feel, more bluesier than jazz. I am a multi-media artist,dealing in visual art of different mediums as well as the medium of music, writing, stained glass, woodcarving, etc. I have acted and directed for stage in Los Angeles in the 80s and 90s, belonging to quite a few rep companies. I have also produced open poetry mics in the Santa Monica area and am a published poet under the name Los Angelo.
